The MSF movement is built around five operational directorates supported by MSF’s 21 sections, 24 associations and other offices together worldwide. MSF OCBA is one of those directorates. The operations are implemented by field teams and the mission coordination teams; together with the organizational units based in Barcelona, Athens and decentralised in Nairobi, Dakar and Amman. The field operations are guided and supported by 4 Operational Cells, the Emergency Unit and other departments supporting operations, including the Communication and Fundraising Departments.
JOB GENERAL OBJECTIVE AND CONTEXT
The MSF Spain Fundraising and Communications Departments are responsible for executing integrated communications and marketing initiatives, from brand-building and awareness to donor prospecting, renewal and cultivation campaigns. Over the past three years we have been investing in building our digital capacity and technological infrastructure, with the aim of delivering more data driven, personalized and automated marketing.
This new role is central to our goals for the future, supporting us to develop, implement, measure and optimize digital donor journeys, email and wider marketing automation campaigns.
You will work within our Loyalty team, supporting them in developing donor cultivation journeys and campaigns to reach and engage hundreds of thousands of MSF donors across Spain. You will also directly support a wider range of other business owners using our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in developing campaigns and journeys to meet their business goals.
You will be working alongside a rapidly expanding group of digital staff in MSF Spain, playing your part in transforming the way in which MSF communicates and fundraises to better meet opportunities and challenges of a digital era. On a day-to-day basis you will help colleagues to identify ideas, develop and review digital marketing content and tactics, looking to increase impact and relevance. Finally, you will be proactive in sharing your experience and knowledge with colleagues across MSF, inspiring them to be stronger digital marketers.
Your abilities to meet multiple stakeholder expectations, test and optimize, report and analyse, maintain outstanding results will be tested daily. It’s a big job suited to an ambitious digital marketer who is ready to apply their skills to support an incredible mission.
The position is hierarchically accountable to the Head of Loyalty in the Fundraising Department and functionally accountable to the Head of Digital (working in both the Fundraising and Communications Departments).
